Adex Personnel is looking for an Engineer in Automation to join one of its partners specialized in the aerospace sector. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated systems.

Responsibilities:

- Identify improvement opportunities across various sectors of the company.

- Advise and support teams from various departments to achieve operational objectives.

- Design, create electrical drawings, and program PLCs and human-machine interfaces (Allen-Bradley).

- Support teams in implementing improvement projects, developing project mandates with internal clients, proposing tools, and providing support.

- Define and/or create appropriate tools.

- Develop employees' skills and autonomy in continuous improvement of their processes or departments, using lean manufacturing tools such as Kanban, visual management, problem-solving, setup time reduction, etc.

- Identify, prevent, and manage resistance to change.

- Ensure completion of assigned mandates.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automated Production Engineering, or related field.

- 3 to 5 years of experience in continuous improvement and automated systems as a project manager or assistant project manager.

- Strong knowledge of PLCs and human-machine interfaces (Allen-Bradley, Motoman, Siemens).

- Thorough understanding of continuous improvement concepts and tools (Kaizen, TPM, ABS, etc.).

- Ability to coach problem-solving teams.

- Ability to design and deliver training programs.

- Strong organizational skills in managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.

- Facilitation and team mobilization skills, strong team player, and excellent communicator.

- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

- Ability to work with minimal supervision.

- Recognized aptitude – Excellent listening and attention to detail.

- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

 - Results-oriented and tenacious.

- Very good proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCad, or SolidWorks.

- Bilingual (French/English).
