Senior Project Manager

Adex Personnel is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join one of its partners, a leader in digital strategy and transformation. In this role, you will work on a client project for a renowned financial leader for a 12-month contract, with an option for renewal. The work will be conducted in a hybrid mode, based in Montreal.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for defining, planning, organizing, and delivering initiatives (features, epics) for multidisciplinary teams.
- Supervise and facilitate the daily activities of the multidisciplinary teams under your responsibility.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, other Release Train Engineers, and the project manager.
- Support managers in the proper management of projects (budgets, schedules, risks, and issues, etc.).
- Act as a coach to less experienced colleagues in the use of agile methodology and propose improvements that support the delivery of features.
- Diagnose problematic situations, intervene, and involve yourself in solving complex problems by implementing solutions.
- Identify and manage inherent risks and issues constantly and proactively.
- Produce various reports to monitor project/train progress and provide status updates, while adapting communication to the audience.
- Manage stakeholders and maintain good relationships with internal and external collaborators.
- Promote communication within and between teams to ensure transparency.
- Support your team and other RTEs/POs/project managers/Scrum Masters in managing interdependencies and blockers.
Requirements:
- Completed Bachelor's degree related to the field and 7 to 10 years of relevant experience, or another diploma with several years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of the SAFe Framework and agile methodologies.
- Knowledge and certification in the role of SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) and/or Scrum Master (SM) is essential.
- Experience in delivery projects.
- Analytical mindset and critical thinking.
- Ability to simplify issues, risks, and business objectives.
- Good communication and synthesis skills at all levels of the organization.
- Resourceful, team player, and good communicator.
- Ability to cooperate effectively and be accountable.
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- French required. English is an asset (you may need to speak with English-speaking suppliers).
