Adex Personnel is seeking an   for a renowned engineering and manufacturing company specializing in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder design and process control systems development, based in Montreal.

In this role focused on execution and collaboration, you will be responsible for executing business initiatives, expanding the network of distributor partners, and developing fruitful collaborations. By working closely with various teams, your objective will be to ensure effective implementation of business strategies and to proactively address customer needs.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Work closely with the sales team to understand and implement the overall sales strategy.
  • Identify and develop new distributors, service centers, and partnerships, from auditing to training, to contracts and commercial terms.
  • Cultivate and strengthen the customer base by deeply understanding their needs and implementing the sales strategy.
  • Drive the sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, while meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in trade shows, conferences, and events to showcase products and establish contacts with potential clients and partners.
  • Manage the complete implementation of projects, acting as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring continuous alignment with client specifications.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments such as marketing and product development for a cohesive approach to company growth.

Requirements:

  • Hold a university degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Accumulate 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or a related role within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
  • Possess strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, enabling effective interaction and maintaining optimal relationships with clients.
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Have a good command of Windows 10+ environment, CRM software, Office 365, and common applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Be capable of problem-solving and making effective decisions.
  • Have technical knowledge and an ability to quickly grasp product information.
  • Be willing to travel as needed to meet clients, attend industry events, and promote company products.
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills in both French and English (proficiency in Spanish is a plus).
