Adex Personnel is looking for a Senior Mainframe Z/OS Programmer Analyst for an eleven (11) month hybrid assignment (2 days per week on-site) with a client in the Finance sector based in Montreal.

As a Senior Mainframe Z/OS Programmer Analyst, your mission is to lead the development of strategic solutions, bringing advanced expertise in Mainframe programming. Your significant contribution will positively influence the success of projects within our innovative company.

Responsibilities:

• Actively contribute to modernization projects by understanding requirements, developing, and configuring according to analysis and architecture specifications.

• Ensure development, configuration, testing, and identification of solutions, while correcting applications, tools, programs, and procedures assigned according to best practices.

• Propose continuous improvements to increase efficiency and quality, conducting unit tests and participating in integrated system testing.

• Analyze potential impacts on performance, apply best practices, effectively use necessary tools, and prepare associated documentation for approval.

Requirements:

• Possess ten (10) years of relevant experience in programming on Mainframe Z/OS (Cobol, JCL, Endevor, CTRL-M, IMS, DB2).

• Experience in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment is an asset.

• Develop expertise in the banking sector.
