Adex Personnel is currently seeking a Gate Machinist Level 1 to join one of its aerospacel sector client partners.

As a Gate Machinist Level 1 , your role will involve machining casting doors according to specified requirements. You will be responsible for using a conventional milling machine, visually inspecting received sales material, and inspecting the necessary fixations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual verification of the casting upon receiving pre-inspection to ensure complete removal of sales material and validate the associated router.
  • Use a conventional milling machine to machine casting doors in compliance with all specifications.
  • Use specified fixations for molded parts, inspecting them for any potential damage and ensuring their compliance.
  • Carry out any other tasks assigned within your responsibilities.
  • Adhere to the company's values and code of ethics.
  • Follow established safety, health, and environmental programs.

Requirements:

  • Read and interpret various documents, such as safety rules, instructions for use and maintenance, and procedure manuals.
  • Master the use of measuring instruments.
  • Have the ability to operate a conventional milling machine.
  • Possess skills in handling hoists.
  • Excellent visual dexterity.
  • Developed manual dexterity.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  •  Make judicious decisions.
  •  High school diploma or equivalent.
  •  A 3 to 6-month on-the-job experience is required to acquire acceptable proficiency.
