Adex Personnel is looking for a Business Architect on behalf of one of its partners, a recognized leader in technological transformation.

In this position, you will be working on a client project within the public service sector over a period of 20 weeks (until February 8, 2024) with the possibility of renewal for one (1) year, in Quebec City, in the city of Quebec.

Responsibilities :

  • Get to know the business areas and the different realities in the field;
    • Gather and analyze the project's business needs, validate them according to the institution's needs and the project's target orientations, and make business architecture recommendations;
    • Ensure an overall view of requirements in order to establish globally integrated targets;
    • Translate needs into requirements, define and write processes;
    • Ensure alignment of business case choices and recommendations with applicable norms and standards;
    • Anticipate project issues and risks, and analyze change requests and their impact;
    • Advise the sector's business designer and the project team by recommending different business alternatives aligned with the architecture, target orientations and business needs;
    • Contribute to cost-benefit analyses of solutions ;
    • Participate in the production of corporate deliverables.

Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years experience in business analysis;
    • Completed at least 2 business case or opportunity analysis mandates for systems/solutions/products in excess of $250,000;
    • Completed at least 5 business architecture mandates, including the business process components targeted, the objectives pursued, their added value, the expected benefits, the anticipated costs, the performance indicators and the impact of the status quo;
    • Completed at least 2 business architecture mandates in large-scale organizations;
    • Completed at least 2 mandates requiring the involvement of senior management in setting strategic orientations for the organization;
    • Development and maintenance of multi-year roadmaps for corporate systems/products; 
    • Facilitation of solution design workshops involving several departments within the same organization;
    • Production and presentation of executive summaries to support senior management decision-making processes;
    • Execution of business architecture mandates in large-scale agility contexts (SAFe or others);
    • Mastery of the main concepts of business architecture repositories (e.g. TOGAF, Bizbok).
