Adex Personnel is looking for a Software environments and development support Analyst on behalf of one of its partners, a recognized leader in technological transformation.

In this position, you will be working on a client project within the public service sector over a period of eleven (11) months on remote mode. 

The Software environments and development support Analyst works as an advisor on analysis projects, as well as on the development, implementation and support of solutions with technological components. He organizes, controls and carries out all activities related to the tasks assigned to him. He is responsible for implementing the application infrastructure in compliance with security rules, as well as contributing to the drafting of various deliverables based on expressed needs. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support and train teams in best development practices and in the use of common modules.
  • Ensure the development and evolution of applications and common modules. 
  • Acquire expertise to support the tools under his responsibility through experimentation, traditional or self-taught training, as well as programming, configuration and administration work. 
  • Make recommendations to ensure the efficiency of the environment management process. 
  • Ensure the availability and stability of the development software infrastructure and manage its evolution according to high quality standards, respecting the employer's criteria, directives and standards, as well as best practices in information technology service management.
  • Manage the development and evolution of technological services (infrastructure components, utilities, development toolboxes, etc.) and participate in the installation and configuration of technologies in development and production environments.
  • Solve complex problems related to the use of the many technologies present on Web servers or in cloud computing.
  • Identify strategies for improvement and evolution according to the employer's best practices.
  • Participate in the development team's project follow-up meetings and report on progress, possible solutions and problems that could jeopardize deadlines or project completion.
  • Respond to developers' ad hoc needs in terms of application structure.
  • Produce all documentation relevant to his/her area of expertise, in accordance with the employer's norms and standards.
  • Supervise and participate in the implementation of new technological solutions required for the development or development support mission (e.g. Azure DevOps, Release management, Code analysis, Load testing and test automation, etc.).
  • Provide common services with the infrastructure required for their development.
  • Create deployment scripts and scale systems into production.
  • Plan and monitor the performance of the various environments and initiate corrective action when required.
  • Support project managers in the preparation and coordination of work plans required for jobs.
  • Respond to ad hoc support requests.
  • Resolve various anomalies.
  • Manage SSL certificates on Web servers. Manage application environments on site and in the Azure cloud.
  • Carry out production releases.
  • Monitor applications.
  • Manage Web servers.
  • Provide project and production support.
  • Provide Azure DevOps support.

Requirements:

  • More than four (4) years of professional experience in information technology.
  • One (1) year experience with .Net (C#) and .Net (VB) Framework .Net 4.7 or later.
  • One (1) year's experience in designing application graduation pipelines.
  • One (1) year's experience in administering application environments in Microsoft Azure.
  • One (1) year's experience with each of the following tools:
  • Visual Studio 2015
  • IIS 7.5
  • Web Services (REST)
  • One (1) year's experience with Azure DevOps tools
  • Have completed one (1) assignment involving network security (NTLM/Kerberos) and Active Directory (AD).
