CMDB Business Analyst

Adex personnel is looking for a CMDB Business Analyst for one of its partners, a leader in digital strategy and technology; 

In this position, you will be working on a client project within the high education sector ;  

Responsibilities: 

The STI is carrying out a dynamic inventory project of its information assets. The mandate essentially consists in carrying out this inventory project. The organization already uses ServiceNow as its ticketing tool. A CMDB was set up when the ticketing system was implemented, and this needs to be updated and enhanced. The project aims to implement the dynamic discovery and change detection functionalities offered by ServiceNow's ITOM solution. The implementation of ServiceNow's ITOM solution is therefore at the heart of the project to enrich the CMDB. This database must also be enriched via interconnection with various systems in the University's technological environment. These may include one or more network asset inventory systems, or the integration of an MDM solution to provide the data needed to manage network assets.

The candidate must be able to understand the organization's current situation in its university context in order to contribute effectively to the advancement of projects. The requirement is for the candidate to understand business needs in order to adequately support project teams. Tasks include developing requirements, working on processes and change management, and writing and revising governance documents for team members and management. He/she contributes to work relating to proof of concepts, testing, documentation and module parameterization. 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in information technology, including a minimum of three (3) years in the design of business cases, use cases, functional and technical files using UML or BPMN as formalism. 
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. 

Additional specific requirements  

  • Completion of a minimum of two (2) high-level analysis mandates, such as opportunity studies, feasibility studies, business service slicing studies, in a custom development or software implementation context. 
  • Completed a minimum of two (2) mandates for the design of use cases, functional and technical files for projects over 200 p-d in scope, and managed these with customers and technical implementation teams in Agile mode. 
  • Completed a minimum of two (2) mandates of more than 200 d-p each, requiring the creation of a project team of at least four (4) full-time resources, while participating in the evaluation of value cases, functional requirements, acquisition specifications, delivery follow-up and acceptance of the resulting developments.
