Senior Power BI Specialist

Adex Personnel is looking for a Senior Power BI Specialist on behalf of one of its partners, a recognized leader in technological transformation.

In this position, you will be working on a client project within the health sector over a period of Six to Twelve (6 to 12) months, in the city of Montreal. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead the interpretation of high-level business needs into functional specifications and user scenarios (User Stories) while ensuring communication with users.
• Synthesize a global vision of a system and development issues by understanding what are the short- and medium-term business needs.
• Advise users by proposing alternatives and explaining the constraints related to the philosophy of the system.
• Produce plans and specifications that accurately translate user requirements into solutions within established parameters.
• Manage your own or other activities in ways that carry out plans.
• Design and supervise the configuration and development of identified solutions that meet functional and technical standards as well as configure, code, document, and test solutions.
• Ensure the quality and stability of systems by following standards or practices for development or documentation of the established delivery process.
• Provide second-level technical support to resolve production issues and provide support according to the established level of services.
• Contribute to the convergence of initiatives and orientations related to the M365 program and identify docking areas to ensure that solutions are consistent.
• Ensure end-to-end deployment of user licenses for all employer offices.
• Collaborate with program experts in defining the transition strategy.
• Perform impact assessments for change requests.
• Produce evaluations of efforts to carry out interventions. 

Requirements:

• Hold an undergraduate university degree (bachelor’s degree or certificate) in a relevant discipline or a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in a related discipline.
• Cumulate a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the business field, including activities related to the field of information technology and business intelligence.
• Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in health and social services.
• Accumulate a minimum of five (5) years as a resource participating in a business intelligence solution development project.
• Have participated in the development of the business architecture as well as the planning, preparation, and execution of test cases for the solution.
• Have deployed at least two (2) solutions in his/her field of business and have experience in situations where deadlines, budgets, resources, and issues are part of project constraints.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in the Microsoft 365 platform and deployment.
• Master business process and operational process modeling techniques.
• Possess a very good capacity for analysis and synthesis.
• Demonstrate an ability to write clear and concise written reports for diverse audiences.
• Holding a certificate in CBAP business analysis is an asset.
