Office Equipment Assistance Service Advisor

Adex Personnel is looking for an Office Equipment Assistance Service Advisor on behalf of one of its partners, a recognized leader in technological transformation. 

In this position, you will be working on a client project within the public sector / par public over a period of one (1) year with two (2) renewal possibilities,in the city of Quebec

Responsibilities:

  • Help users and answer various requests related to office equipment.
  • Prepare and deliver mobile devices.
  • Prepare and deploy desktops.
  • Participate in the relocation and redevelopment of users.
  • Participate in the updating of the equipment inventory.
  • Troubleshoot issues reported by users.
  • Adequately document a request (incident, request, assistance, or information) in the current ticketing system.
  • Diagnose incidents.
  • Establish the level of priority and severity of the incident following the diagnosis.
  • Resolve the incident by applying the appropriate solution.
  • Disseminate solutions in the ticketing system.
  • Follow up on an incident that is already open and has not been resolved on first contact.
  • Become aware of major problems with the use or operation of computer equipment and notify the coordinator.
  • Find the causes, establish the diagnosis, and make the appropriate corrections. 

Requirements:

  • Hold a diploma of professional studies in the field of computer support.
  • Accumulate a minimum of six (6) months of relevant expertise in the field of IT support.
  • Good general knowledge of technology and experience troubleshooting office equipment (Windows 10, Office 365, One Drive, Intune, SCCM, Workstations, Printers, Tablets, Apple Mobile).
