Adex Personnel is looking for a Technology Infrastructure Advisor - Microsoft Specialist (M/F) on behalf of one of its partners, a recognized leader in technological transformation. 

In this position, you will be working on a client project within the public service sector that is spread over a period of twelve (12) months, in Quebec City or Montreal. 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Level 3 support in Windows Server environments (2012R2, 2016, and 2019).
  • Troubleshoot complex server issues and problems.
  • Carry out the interventions requested as part of the realization of the projects.
  • Provide first and second level office troubleshooting support.
  • Contribute to the operation and operation of the computer park.
  • Track the movement of backup media.
  • Provide an advisory role for the solutions of the M365 suite.
  • Provide support to internal resources who will be responsible for administering Exchange Online and Teams.
  • Integrate with the DevSecOps process to support the company's cloud services.
  • Apply automation guidelines through the selected tools, as part of the projects and operationalization of the solutions and services implemented.
  • Contribute to the definition of best practices and continuous improvement of telecommunication solutions and services in the DevSecOps culture.
  • Ensure the implementation of solutions according to the DevSecOps methodology.
  • Analyze the utilization of virtual machines, virtualization host memory, and data storage.
  • Ensure that all operational issues related to the use of the telecommunications network or infrastructure (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Backups, etc.) are resolved.
  • Assess the impacts of new project needs, considering existing infrastructure as well as the needs of other projects, to implement an efficient and secure infrastructure that meets the needs of the organization.
  • Provide advice to project stakeholders and provide the required technical advice and recommendations.
  • Ensure that there is consultation between the stakeholders concerned so that the solutions to be implemented respect the objectives of the projects and the rules of the organization.
  • Present recommendations and options for solutions that consider institutional and policy developments with respect to access to information.
  • Produce technical or operational documentation at the request of the employer.

Requirements:

  • Cumulate a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the field of information Cloud Infrastructure
  • Cumulate a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the field of information technology.
  • Has eight (8) years of experience in the field of information technology including five (5) years as a technology infrastructure consultant.
  • Have completed two mandates of more than 100 person-days including the following technologies:
    • SharePoint
    • Networking
    • Windows 11
    • Windows Server 2012 and higher¨
    • SAN Storage
    • Oracle or SQL Server database management system
  • Demonstrate strong experience with Microsoft 365 as well as Exchange Online and Teams.
