Azure Specialist (M/F)

Adex Personnel is looking for an Azure Specialist (M/F) for a Ten (10) Months Contract for a client in Montréal.

This mandate is mostly Remote Work with some occasional on-site presence. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Determine the required Cloud configuration setting.
  • Carry out the migration of an existing IT Cloud environment (Azure) to another Cloud environment (Azure)
  • Carry out the migration of existing applications that are connected to the current Azure servers.
  • Perform the migration of workstations joined to the current Azure environment and Active Directory, which will need to be migrated over to a new Active Directory and Azure servers.
  • Migrate Mailboxes from their current domain to a new domain.
  • Write the operating, administrative and operational procedures for the Cloud solutions to be implemented.
  • Perform programming and automation in programmable infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code) to ensure:
    • The transfer of load in cloud
    • Deployment of new workloads in the Azure Cloud
    • Workload management in the cloud environment
  • Conduct proof of concept and document test results.
  • Set up dashboard for consumption, event monitoring, capacity management and cost tracking.
  • Collaborate with the different teams n place while respecting the different processes of the organization. 

Requirements: 

  • Cumulate at least five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in the IT field.
  • Hold a valid Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associates or Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert issued by Microsoft.
  • Have completed a workload transfer mandate from a data center to an Azure Cloud environment.
  • Demonstrate experience in deploying, monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the Azure services used.
  • Demonstrate a proficiency with Cisco products (Switch, Firewall).
  • Possess experience working with Windows Server 2019 and Office 365.
  • Willing to work evening or on calls as needed.
  • Must demonstrate bilingualism (French and English).
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of initiative.
  • Is resourceful and a team player.
