Adex Personnel is looking for a Level 1 IT Technician (Local Service) (M/F) for one of its partners, a recognized leader in technological transformation. 

In this position, you will be working on a client project that falls under the public sector, and that is spread over a period of one (1) year with the possibility of renewal for a client in the city of Sept-Îles. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance and support to users in information technology by ensuring the handling and follow-up of requests and incidents until the return to service.
• Install and/or deliver office equipment to clients in accordance with their needs (incidents or service requests)
• Resolve incidents.
• Install the required hardware and software components.
• Carry out tasks according to the procedures in effect for service requests and incidents.
• Support all office equipment and technological components (software, printers, other computer equipment)
• Call upon, as needed, the level 3 specialists in the search for solutions aiming at a return to service as soon as possible.
• Participate and contribute in certain situations to moves and installations on site and/or throughout the province.
• Refer incidents, service requests and other requests that cannot be handled to the appropriate teams depending on the nature of the request and the level of complexity. 

Requirements: 

• Possess an Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) in computer science or equivalent.
• A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in information technology or in a related field.
