Adex Personnel is looking for an Inside Sales Technical Representative (M/F) to join one of its partners, a well-established hydraulic, pneumatic, electrohydraulic and process control system engineering and manufacturing company in the city of Montreal.
In this position as a Technical Representative of Inside Sales, you will be mandated to generate technical quotations for the Company’s standard and custom products to our sales team on a timely basis:
- Provide application engineering services in support of quoting activities.
- Prepare or assist in the preparation of proposals, mainly for automation applications in the Oil & Gas, Petro-Chemical, power gen, and process industries.
- Ensure a timely, high-quality, and competitive response to customer requirements.
- Ensure that sound engineering practices and procedures are implemented in the pre-order and order entry phases.

Responsibilities:
- Review, evaluate and clarify customer inquiries and technical specifications.
- Identify technical factors in customer inquiries that may affect the cost, delivery, and ability to conform.
- Select, size, and price actuators and controls that conform to customers’ requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments to obtain the information needed to provide comprehensive proposals.
- Provide general applications engineering support to internal and external clients, including followup assistance on proposals and orders.
- In conjunction with our IT group, develop tools to improve Company's response time to RFQs.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma. Studies in mechanical, electro-mechanical, or technicalrelated disciplines.
- Strong computer skills and organizational skills.
- Written and oral fluency in French and English.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients within and outside the company.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to2 multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be accurate with high attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Background in engineering or manufacturing environments is an asset.
- Experience in a similar role is an asset.
- Knowledge of fluid-powered automation is an asset.
- Knowledge of other languages is an asset (Spanish, Chinese).
